The garden

Palazzo Massaini is located in the heart of Tuscany, on a flourishing land. Nature is the lifeblood that surrounds the estate, from where it can be admired the Italian Garden and the large Botanical Garden in collaboration with the University of Siena.

The Tenuta cultivars

The crops are divided into about 13 hectares of vineyards, mainly Sangiovese, but also Merlot, Trebbiano and Malvasia‘s white grapes used especially for the production of an excellent Vin Santo, Vermentino was also introduced for the production of an excellent Tuscan IGT White wine called “Luna in Leone”.

The estate is framed by about 15 hectares of olive trees, some centuries-old ones. We can find: Moraiolo, Leccino, Frantoio and Correggiolo.

A further 110 hectares of land are destined to arable land, mainly durum wheat, clover, oats and alfalfa, suitably intercalated in rotation year by year following a specific crop plan.
