“Moraiolo”, “Frantoio” and “Correggiolo”: these are the three olive varieties cultivated on about fifthteen hectares area in Palazzo Massaini. The ancient trunks wrap themselves up as Michelangelo's sculptures towards the sky of Pienza, in the Tuscan sun. By us the olive harvest is still made by hand and they are immediately brought to the nearby crusher. The final result is an excellent extra virgin olive oil, with a pleasant fruity flavour. A real firstfruits.
